71. GfA-Frühjahrskongress
Der 71. GfA-Frühjahrskongress (“71st GfA Spring Congress”) took place in Aachen from March 25 – 27, 2025 with the main theme “Work 5.0: Human-centered innovations for the future of work”.
The congress offers not only valuable specialist knowledge, but also a platform for the exchange between research and practice. More than 450 experts from science and industry came together at the C.A.R.L. of RWTH Aachen University to set new trends for a future-proof and socially sustainable working environment.
A diverse program of presentations, workshops and poster sessions on current topics such as value-based transformation, mental health, teamwork, AI and digitalization. Keynotes and discussions provided insights into Industry 5.0, ergonomics and innovative research initiatives.
The program was topped with excursions to RWTH facilities such as wie Virtual Reality & Immersive Visualization (AixCAVE), Digital Capability Center Aachen, DFA Demonstrationsfabrik Aachen as well as a tour around the campus of RWTH Aachen and a guided tour through the Aachen Cathedral.
A festive highlight of the congress was the evening event in the historic Coronation Hall of the Aachen Town Hall, which offered the participants the opportunity for personal exchange and networking while enjoying good food and a relaxed atmosphere.
