Essener Tagung

For more than 50 years, the Essen Conference has been one of the most important events in the field of water management, organized by the Institute of Environmental Engineering at RWTH Aachen University.

Every year, up to 1,000 participants come together to discuss current and future developments. Experts from the fields of science, practice and politics present the latest research results and technological innovations in around 70 technical lectures.

A special feature of the three-day event is the wide range of topics – from environmental policy and legal frameworks to practical technical solutions. The program is complemented by an exhibition, excursions and the Technology Forum, where companies present their products and services.
