1st European Fluid Dynamics Conference (EFDC1)

In September 2024 the event team of RWTH International Academy had the pleasure to support the 1st European Fluid Dynamics Conference (EFDC1) in Aachen. In cooperation with the Chair of Fluid Dynamics and the Institute of Aerodynamics of RWTH Aachen University, our team ensured the smooth organization of this high-level scientific exchange.

More than 1,100 international guests met in the CARL building to discuss the latest developments in the field of fluid dynamics. In addition to exciting lectures and mini-symposia, the conference offered a varied social program – from city tours to a festive gala dinner at DAS LIEBIG.

Our contribution to the success of the event

As a full-service provider, our event team was responsible, for example:

  • Participant management – registrations, hotel arrangements, information mailings, and more

  • On-site support – ensuring a smooth process

  • Event logistics – coordination with venues and external trades, on-site coordination

  • Finance & budget management – calculations and secure processing

  • Graphic services & merchandise – Design of event materials with corporate branding (name badges, poket program, gift bags, T-shirts, etc.)

  • Creation of the event website – design, hosting and support
